| Requirements |
Responsibilities include:
- Identifying potential customers across industries
- Quoting lumber, building materials, and specialty products to current and potential customers
- Growing existing customer base through active prospecting
- Working with the inside sales team to provide a comprehensive and positive experience for every customer
- Maintaining personal sales records
- Achieving predetermined sales goals
- Visiting job sites to determine customers’ needs and level of satisfaction
- Evaluating account revenue and profitability
- Working with warehouse, yard, and ordering staff to ensure products and materials are available
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED; four-year degree preferred
- Valid driver’s license
- Industry sales experience; 3-5 years preferred
- Computer and technology (mobile) proficiency
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to effectively represent the company and products to prospective customers
- Comfort working in a team-based environment
